I remember when I first started studying Flamenco how difficult it was to remember exercises I had learned in class when practicing at home, and how hungry I was for explanations to things I did not understand. Now a teacher myself my students express the same difficulty, and so for these reasons I have produced this series of videos “An Introduction to Flamenco dance”. Anna has been immersed in flamenco from an early age, dancing at family gatherings and fiestas at her family home in Cordóba, Andalucia. As well as being trained in Ballet and Jazz, Anna Has studied flamenco with great teachers including, Belen Maya, Mercedes Ruiz, Maria Magdalena, Rafaela Carrasco, and Belén Fernadez. |
